RMR_A offers architectural services for commercial and residential projects, from concept design to
construction.
Prior to establishing RMR_A, Ruben McGee Ruckman worked as designer and model builder at renowned architecture firm Gehry Partners, Los Angeles [2010-2017]. Ruben was a member of the project team that created Luma Tower in Arles, France [2021].
At Los Angeles-based RAD Furniture, he designed and facilitated fabrication detailing for their innovative, forward-thinking product line of furniture.
Recently, Ruben built 3D models and collaborated on the design of light-weight, perforated skateboard decks for Lander Skateboards, a company which he helped establish.
Ruben’s experience with high-profile buildings as well as the detailing involved in product design brings a unique skill-set and innovative perspective to his projects.
Current works include a pizzeria in Culver City, a residence in Joshua Tree, a winetasting bar and warehouse in Ventura, and an ADU in Eagle Rock.
He holds a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.
Ruben resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
